We are currently looking for violins, violas, cellos and double basses.

We welcome potential new players of around Grade 8 standard or above, so if you're interested in playing then we'd love to hear from you. Please email Marian at info@fso.org.uk.

Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings at the Hammersmith Novotel, which is easily accessible by bus and Tube. We normally rehearse for nine weeks before a concert.

The rehearsal schedule normally includes sectional rehearsals with coaching from well established tutors, and a repertoire session when we look at major works from the symphonic repertory.
